Grant Opportunities

Grant Opportunities for 501(c)(3) Organizations

ASFA realizes that foundations need alternative sources of revenue and is pleased to present the following list of corporate grant opportunities. The eligibility requirements of these grants will differ depending on the grant provider. Why not try to get a piece of the billions of dollars that corporations give not-for-profit organizations? It should be noted that the individual corporations determine the disbursement of its grants. ASFA is not involved in this decision and does not guarantee the receiving of grants by its members.

In addition to seeking corporate grant funding, some of these corporations may allocate funds specifically for local education foundations. To determine if local funding is available, please contact a local branch or office of the corporation.

The following corporations offer grants to foundations that are registered with the IRS as 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. It is up to each foundation to determine if its programs meet the qualifications established by each corporation to receive grant funding. For example, many of the grant opportunities offered at these corporations must be to fund a specific purpose, e.g., technology, health and wellness education, or literacy. This is a dynamic list that is continuously updated.

PLEASE NOTE that while ASFA is pleased to offer this corporate grant list to members, ASFA does not provide tax or legal advice. Not-for-profit education foundations should consult with an attorney for advice regarding specific legal matters affecting their foundation.
