Fundraising Initiatives Introduction

Education foundations across the U.S. host special events to fundraise or to “friend raise.”  Bringing the community together for a foundation-sponsored event allows constituents (or donors) to understand the funding objectives of the foundation and brings the foundation’s brand and mission into focus. 

Similar events that are held in one state can be successful in any other state if the local community is willing to embrace the event.  In addition, to ensure that the foundation does not compete with other not-for-profit organizations in the community, unique fundraising events are sought.
