A participant will have an overview of what components are needed for a successful & sustainable foundation


EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
A Participant Will Have:

  1. A checklist of all the legal components needed to start a foundation
  2. An overview of the Organizational Structure for a successful foundation
  3. An overview of how to identify, recruit, & train board members
  4. Of how very important imaging and marketing is to a foundation success
  5. An overview of examples of foundation successful programming
  6. An understanding of the components necessary needed for a successful resource development plan
  7. An understanding that a mini campaign using a major gifts approach can be used to launch the foundation
  8. An understanding that the annual fundraising is the second stage of the continuum and it is multi dimensional
  9. An understanding that the sustainability campaign is used to raise endowment funds and should be developed when the foundation has had success in stages one and two
